How to create a Let's Encrypt certificate for subdomain on another server

I setup MIAB with the Let’s Encrypt certificates. What an awesome setup! I tried setting up a Let’s Encrypt certificate for a subdomain on a separate server, e.g. blog.mydomain.com. After setting up that certificate, my MIAB domains box.mydomain.com were not resolving. After revoking the blog.mydomain.com MIAB worked properly.

Any ideas how I might get a certificate working on a subdomain on a different server/IP?

Are you hosting the DNS for this sub.domain on MIAB? If not that seems the issue.

I would setup from the server in which that sub.domain resolves.
