If I have incorrectly entered my initial user’s password in the setup script, how can I change it?

You’ll need to log in with ssh (as when you set up the box), then:
cd mailinabox
tools/mail.py user password [yourname@domain.com]
replacing [yourname@domain.com] with your initial user’s email.
