I see that ownCloud is installed with Mail in a Box. Does it also support normal ownCloud cloud drive usage? My existing ownCloud app on my Mac can’t connect.
Yes, the OwnCloud installation does have file support. However I believe it’s going to be replaced in the future so I wouldn’t recommend using it.
Also, you could need to direct the desktop client to the directory where OwnCloud is installed.
Try this adding the directory /cloud onto your url, for example “https://box.domain.com/cloud”

As you said, the desktop client needed the correct path. As for depending on it in the future… since it’s just syncing a local folder, I won’t lose anything if it goes away.
