Getting delays sending to gmail / google hosted email

I have now had 2 separate messages get rejected by google in the last week or so. First message was an email I sent to a company inquiring about service. The second message was in reply to a message that I received from a client. I know that google made some changes to their products, and wasn’t sure if others are seeing this behavior as well. The server is only used by my wife and I, so we are not generating tons of messages to gmail addresses…

In the MIAB admin panel the only red X that I have is for “MTA-STS policy is missing: STSFetchResult.NONE”. Not sure if that would be causing me issues.

I had setup verification using google’s postmaster tools, and still show as verified at the portal https://postmaster.google.com/u/0/managedomains?pli=1

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Check if your domain is on a blacklist

I suspect it is, it could be your domain or your ISP/hosting providers IP range.

I confirmed that my domain is not on any of the blacklists. I have had this domain for over 7 years, its been on the same IP address for nearly 2 years and at the same hosting provider I’ve used for nearly 10 years.

I have implemented MTA-STS and will see if that helps at all. Just curious if anyone else was seeing more rejections from google as whatever they say seems to go and we have to jump through their hoops…
