Email address without subdomain

We have a website hosted at our primary domain (example.com). We installed mail in a box at a subdomain (box.example.com). As a result, all of our emails addresses are configured as user@box.example.com.

How can we configure mail in a box to create email addresses in the format user@example.com without disrupting our primary web server?

You can create email addresses on any domain (e.g. @example.com) using the box’s admin panel. Then you either make the box the DNS server for the domain following the instructions in the setup guide, or copy the DNS settings from the External DNS section of the admin panel into your DNS server. Either way, you can let the Status Checks page of the admin guide you.

Thank you!

Got it working!

Great!
