I am trying to add a basic SRV record to custom DNS . I read that it was to be implemented and I do not see it appear in the interface. Is there an easy way to add the SRV record?
I submitted a pull request which adds this feature to the GUI which was accepted but a new version hasn’t been released yet.
In the meantime you will need to use the API to do so, see my post about the same issue here: Need help setting up SRV records For clarity, the commands here need to be entered in a shell session on the box itself, replacing username and password with an admin username and password.
If you wish to add it to the web interface in the meantime, the change is extremely simple and you can see it here: https://github.com/mail-in-a-box/mailinabox/pull/787/files If you don’t understand how, I don’t recommend attempting it.
