Do I need my local MIAB backup now I'm using S3?

After Rsyncing the local backups from MIAB server to a local NAS, I’ve now setup an S3 bucket and, much to my surprise, even managed to successfully configure it with last night’s backup being the first.

So now that the MIAB backup is off-site I guess I no longer need the local copy?

Deleting it would free up much needed space.

Assuming this won’t break anything i guess I can delete anything lower than /home/user-data/backup/encrypted ensuring I keep the secret.txt

Any advice welcomed.

Many thanks

Yes, and you have of course saved the secret_key.txt file somewhere safe, right?

@alento, thanks, yes secret_key.txt is already off-site from both S3 and MIAB environments.
