DNS failover with multiple A records

I have configured a hostname with multiple A records to ensure DNS failover.

Records have been assigned and propagated to slave servers @ Linode, but MIAB’s System Status Checks throw errors:

“:heavy_multiplication_x: Secondary nameserver ns1.linode.com is not configured correctly. (It resolved this domain as x.x.x.x; y.y.y.y. It should be x.x.x.x.)”

Any way to fix it?
