Disk Space Reporting Incorrectly in OwnCloud Admin


When I login to the admin portal, and select users. The disk space is reporting at 7.4 GB used


When I run the following command in linux to check the actual space - it reports as 900MB

The issue can be resolved with the following:

-login to OneCloud with the user account which is “mis-reporting” the disk space on OneCloud.
-“delete” the folders from within OneCloud
-OneCloud will generate an error message saying “folder xxx can’t be deleted” (or something like that)

  • refresh the page, or continue to delete the parent directories which no longer exist from the server.
  • access the “owncloud” home page for the user - refresh, and the disk space should report correctly
