Default incoming and outgoing message size limits

I’m a bit of an amateur, so forgive me if I ask something that is straightforward to find out elsewhere, but I’ve been looking to find the maximum default size for emails and attachments with mailinabox. I can’t find it confirmed anywhere.

Could someone please let me know what limits apply to the size of emails incoming (including number and size of attachments) and the same for outgoing mail also?
