Change user-data directory to Amazon EFS

Hi guys,

I just migrated my mail in a box to AWS EC2, I know we can backup our boxes to Amazon S3 but can we change the user-data directory? I want to to try running multiple instances of MIAB from one file system stored on Amazon EFS (Elastic File System).

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

From the setup guide: Mail-in-a-Box Setup Guide

You can change the location of the storage root, but I don’t see how that will help you achieve what you wish to achieve. Unless you plan to run multiple instances (on separate file systems) but have their storage be in one place…

Thank you! Maybe I didnt explain myself correctly… but, yes storage will be Amazon EFS and one instance always running in an auto scaling group that will run additional instances when needed… Will post update once its configured…
