I’ve just setup the application, and followed the steps - I am using Oracle Cloud as it has a free tier.
Everything setup correctly, but when trying to access the admin page the connection just times out. This happens over WiFi, and data, and connected directly to my router.
Below is screenshot of my security rules within Oracle.
Port 53 (DNS; must be open for both tcp & udp) be carefull. DNS will not work without this port opened in the Firewall.
If you use IPv 6 open all ports as per the guideline
any destination for ipv 6 is ::/0
Port 25 Outbound is closed. You must register a PayAsyouGo Plan via Credit card and open a support ticket for them to open it up. Also Reverse DNS for the IPs is done via a support ticket.
I’m probably going to look into using AWS SES for outbound email anyway (less likelihood for issues with blacklists), so I don’t think I need to worry about port 25?
