Blacklisting external email addresses

Is there a preferred way to blacklist external email addresses that are sending to my server.

I am trying to address:
-phishing emails
-spam emails

The issue is that they are both coming from “reputable” domains so while I have contacted abuse@ etc. and added the offending emails to the spam list, they are still showing up for my users.

Most of these originate from only 5-6 email addresses and blacklisting them would be great.

And you can make a sieve rule using the Roundcube filter, but that will be only for the mailbox the rule is for, where the above guide is for the whole server.
