Been running MiaB since Feb and find that the spamfilter is still tagging the daily/weekly status reports as spam. I thought initially it would need some time to train up but after daily fishing out the email from spam folder, it doesn’t seem to be taking. Am I doing anything wrong?
One work-around is to look at the raw header of your spam messages (most email clients allow this) and check the “x-spam-score”. Then edit the /etc/spamassassin/local.cf file on your MIAB server and change the “required_score” (it defaults to 5.0) to a value that won’t flag your status messages as spam. Remember, doing this might tag real spam as legitimate email and not flag it as spam.
