3CX Phone System SMTP

Hi All,

I have recently setup MIAB successfully with inb/outbnd emails working perfectly for 4 separate domains, I have recently run into an issue when trying to use 3CX Phone Server with MIAB to send out status notifications and new user emails etc over SMTP. I use my full email address and password, tick enable ssl/tls and use my box.yourowndomain.com as the mail server address. When I use the test function in the Phone-servers interface I get a “The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.”.

Can anyone assist me with resolving this issue?

Did you use port 587?

Yes, 587 is being used and SSL/TLS is enabled under the 3CX system,
I just get the same error very time no matter which user account I try to use
