# \[Solved\] Unable to redirect/forward email

I want to receive the `Status Checks Change Notice` emails on another email address than [admin@example.com](mailto:admin@example.com) and so I have created a filter rule in the webmail client to do so. I have tried using `Scope: all messages` with both `Redirect message to` and `Send message copy to` but neither forwards the emails to the specified address when they arrive.

Is this not the correct way to do it?

No.

In the admin area on the Mail \> Aliases page change the forward for the email address `administrator@box.domain.tld` to point to the email address where you want to receive admin notices.
