Perhaps it is just me, but after using gmail, yahoo on my android phone, I find the Roundcube app lacking.

Moreover, the web version of the app is not really responsive on mobile phones.

I am not sure if the answer is to replace Roundcube or whether there is another product or configuration that works on mobiles?

hi,
I am using the K-9 Mail on my mobile device and it works great.
You can easily connect your Mail-in-a-Box account with a third party client like Thunderbird, Outlook or K-9 Mail to receive and send Email.
See the configuration for desktop and mobile clients on your administration panel under: Mail\>Instructions

Wow! Wow! and Wow again.

Literally took me 2 minutes from start to finish, and sooo much better than roundcube.

in case you don’t like the design of K-9 Mail, there is a unofficial K-9 app with the up to date material design 🙂

I setup on my webserver an instance of Rainloop. Best non-Google webmail solution I have found. There was discussion of whether to include it or not.

From my google-fu, it looks like its back as an option, but in limbo. But, again, you can get around this by just using it as a stand-alone installation on another VPS/node/server.

HTH,
Andrew.

Google-fu is defined as “skill in using search engines (especially Google) to quickly find useful information on the Internet.” It is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek reference to kung-fu, which is generally perceived as requiring a high degree of skill to master in the western hemisphere.7 Apr 2011

HTH means “Hope That Helps” or "How The Hell"
from [https://www.internetslang.com/HTH-meaning-definition.asp](https://www.internetslang.com/HTH-meaning-definition.asp)

**Rainloop**
You can also deploy the latest version of the application without a need to deal with zip archive, just run one of the following commands in your terminal:

- curl -sL [https://repository.rainloop.net/installer.php](https://repository.rainloop.net/installer.php) | php
- wget -qO- [https://repository.rainloop.net/installer.php](https://repository.rainloop.net/installer.php) | php

To access admin panel, use URL of the following kind: http://product\_installation\_URL/?admin
For example: [http://webmail.domain.com/?admin](http://webmail.domain.com/?admin)
Default login is “admin”, password is “12345”.
