Local DNS is not working [was: Unable to check system status]

I had to add my firewall/gateway to the named.conf.options file in /etc/bind

forwarders {
                192.168.159.1;
        };

and then /etc/init.d/bind9 restart and it worked.

This section of the conf file is commented out resulting in DNS not working.

Your comment tells me that you are running MiaB locally, is that the case? @oberon ?
