# Error - Sender is not authorized by default

I recently set up a new mail in a box server. some emails are going to spam.

I used mail-tester and it returned with the error below. Is it possible for me to modify the SPF record on my box without using an external name server?

What we retained as your current SPF record is:

v=spf1 include:transmail.net ~all  
It should be changed to:

v=spf1 include:transmail.net ip4:myserveripaddress ~all  
The Name Server handling the domain name [hamletmail.com](http://hamletmail.com) is [ns1.box.hamletmail.com](http://ns1.box.hamletmail.com).

[hamletmail.com](http://hamletmail.com): Sender is not authorized by default to use ‘user@hamletmail.com’ in ‘mfrom’ identity, however domain is not currently prepared for false failures (mechanism ‘~all’ matched)

It’s telling you what to do right there, change the SPF record.

Edit: Also, make sure your MIAB server has a user account (like [user@hamletmail.com](mailto:user@hamletmail.com))

@kendjr To change the SPF record create a custom dns entry in the admin area. Your custom entry will overwrite the auto generated entry.
